PAKISTAN BAIT UL MAL
Pakistan institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences with colloboration of Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) has decided to provide assistive devices/artificial limbs to the persons who are paralysed by birth or as a result of Improvised Explosive Device (IEDs) blasts, terrorism-related events, accidents or natural disasters in Pakistan specially the war affected areas.
PIPOS has successfully completed the pilot project of assessment, evaluation procedure to provide artificial limbs and assistive devices to the deserving persons with disabilities (PWDs) of the KP and Balochistan provinces.
Medical camps were set up in collaboration with PBM at Dera Bugti,Swat, North and South Wazirstan to register assess and to provide appropriate solutions to their problems. The ultimate aim of the project is to enhance rehabilitation for PWDs in Pakistan’s urban and rural areas.
Criteria for treatment under Pakistan bait ul Mal
- Patient must be poor and entitle to receive zakat.
- Patient shall not a government servant
- Must have Pakistani Citizen having Valid CNIC or Form B.
- Not availed health service under sehat Card.
- Provide physical disability proof in form of Picture
Procedure:
- The patient must fill the prescribe proforma available in the PIPOS official website.
- After that the patient must shows the certificate issued by Sehat card official located at the House No 9-A, Rehman Baba Road University town Peshawar as a proof of reasons/justification that are not entitled for treatment out of sehat card.
- Complete proforma along with the supporting documents (CNIC/FORM-B, Certificate) reached to the office of Pakistan Bait Ul Mal located at Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Provincial Office, Qafila Road, University Rd, near Gora Qabristan, Peshawar for approval.
- After the inquiry and approval of the Pakistan bait ul Mal your treatment will be initiated at PIPOS.۔
